Happy Holidays 2017

Bondi Junction Hand Therapy Newsletter!

Thank you to everyone for your support this year – it has been another busy one and has just flown by.  We have settled into our new rooms (a short walk from our old address) and are enjoying meeting our new neighbours.

Musician Injuries
We have had a recent influx on a variety of different problems that musicians suffer from which has prompted Hayley to write a detailed article here.  From school students’ first learning to those more advanced in age, musicians are also athletes with a very high functional demand required of their upper limbs.

NSW Hand Surgeons Conference
It was so lovely to catch up with many NSW Hand Surgeons at their recent conference and hear about some of the latest research being undertaken by their teams.  I especially enjoyed the short assessment videos on common injuries which will join previous years videos on their website.  A fantastic resource for all, they can be found at http://www.nswhand.org/instructional-videos.html

Seasons Greetings
As I have done in previous years, in lieu of individual gifts to our generous referrers I have made a donation to a worthy cause.  This year I have chosen Orthopaedic Outreach who provides surgical training and services to Pacific Island nations, Papua New Guinea and East Timor.  For more information visit http://www.orthoreach.org.au/about-us/

Wishing you a Happy New Year and we look forward to continuing to work with you in 2018,

Have a safe and happy holiday
